Park Nicollet Contact Dermatitis Clinic

Park Nicollet is a large multispecialty clinic affiliated with HealthPartners. In the combined departments, there are over 50 dermatologists. The Park Nicollet Contact Dermatitis Clinic is a state-of-the-art tertiary referral clinic for patients with suspected contact dermatitis. The clinic has a central lab space with 8 exam rooms and office space for fellows. The staff consists of three coordinators, research fellows as well as Drs. Sara Hylwa, Katherine Lee, Anne Neeley, and Solveig Ophaug. This clinic opened in August 2017. It is one of several sites in the new Health Partners/Park Nicollet Dermatology Residency Training Program.

Fellowship

For 2025-2026, two research fellows will work at the Park Nicollet Contact Dermatitis Clinic. Duties at that site include coordination (e.g. scheduling patients, preparing patches, applying patches) as well as assisting staff dermatologists (e.g. obtaining patient histories, occupational information, scribing) in clinic. Time for clinical research will be incorporated. Fellows are encouraged to apply for their own grants and publish original articles; completion of at least one in-depth project is expected. Submission of abstracts for presentation at local and national meetings is encouraged. Fellows typically attend and present at the annual American Contact Dermatitis Society meeting.

Salary range is based on experience ($40,000-46,000). Health insurance is available.

Start date is flexible but is ideally May or June.

Fellowship Application Requirements

Interested applicants should send the following information to our fellowship and residency coordinator, Sarah Wilwert, at sarah.l.wilwert@healthpartners.com.
